Aptio Denmark, rooted in Denmark, is a specialized pharma consultancy in the life sciences arena.

We provide expert solutions for a variety of challenges in the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring customized support for our clients. Our strength lies in our collaborative spirit and the diversity of our team, committed to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches. 

Aptio Group was founded in Malmö in 2017 by a group of colleagues and friends that shared the same vision of how a real consulting company should look like. The vision that they all shared was a transparent company that resolves customers’ challenges with a collegial engagement.  

This value proposition is what drives us and is still our most important factor for success.  

  • 2017 Founded in Sweden under the name “Sigma Quality and Compliance” as part of the Sigma family.
  • 2018 Office in Denmark established in Hillerød
  • 2020 Name changed to Aptio Group as part if the Danir Group with 80 operating subsidiaries and 12000 employees in 26 countries – Now three Service area’s Quality and Compliance, Engineering and Medical Device. Office established in Gothenburg.
  • 2022 +180 consultants engaged in projects and manufacturing environments for Pharma & Biotech Customers
  • 2023 Establishment of new subsidiary in Switzerland and first Børsen Gazelle prize was awarded.
  • 2024 Additional Service areas added: Manufacturing Sciences and Tech Transfer and Project Management and Execution. Second Gazelle prize was awarded.
  • 2025 Continued growth, now +220 consultants and +1500 assignments completed

Why I chose Pharma Engineering and stay with Aptio Group 
My journey into pharma engineering was fueled by a passion for innovation and contributing to the development of life-saving medication. The opportunity to work at the forefront of scientific discovery and technological advancement in the pharma sector was a real motivation. 

A Memorable Start
My Aptio Group story began over coffee in a Danish café where I met Michael Hahn for the first time. His warmth and openness made a lasting impression—and confirmed that Aptio was the place for me. 

Work That Matters
As a mechanical engineer with a focus on HVAC and utility systems, my daily responsibilities include overseeing installation and testing activities in construction. I provide crucial support in developing project documentation, ensuring comprehensive alignment with engineering standards and project goals. 

Always Learning, Always Growing 
The projects are diverse and technically demanding, which keeps me learning and improving. Being part of complex projects allows me to expand my skillset in ways I never imagined. 

Great People, Great Culture
